Are you holding an event that requires a touch of elegance and a sophisticatedly energetic ambience? Michael Tarro is available for solo piano performances at cocktail hours, weddings and parties.

Solo, Duo, and Trio Available

Michael performs as a soloist, or in a duo with violin, or upright bass, and a trio with bass and drums. The repertoire consists of a wide variety of musical styles including: jazz, popular, latin, and broadway show tunes.

Piano

Michael Tarro

Michael Tarro began taking piano lessons at six years old. He studied classical, jazz, and popular piano styles for more than 12 years. As an adolescent, he received numerous awards for piano performances. During his high school years, he supplemented his piano studies by taking courses in harmony, theory, solf├Ęge, and counterpoint. Michael continued his musical studies by attending California State University focusing on composition, harmony, and orchestration.

Violin

Nika Webster

Nika is a Soviet-trained classical violinist. She received her Master’s in Music from the State Conservatory of Kazakhstan, and played in the Kazakhstan Symphony Orchestra. She was also the President of the Kazakhstan Chamber Orchestra, and taught violin privately. She moved to RI in 2008. Nika currently serves as the Concertmaster in the Warwick Symphony Orchestra. She is also the Principal 2nd Violinist of the OSSPO, and a member of the Music Ministry at St. Joan of Arch Church in Cumberland.

Saxophone / Flute

Joe Esposito

A graduate of Berklee College of Music 1983, Joe has been performing and teaching the saxophone, flute and clarinet for many years. He has performed throughout New England and New York City. Being a freelance musician, he is versatile in several styles of music, such as jazz, rhythm & blues, classical, and pop. His concerts include live performances with Tony Bennett, Aretha Franklin, Henry Mancini, The Temptations, Johnny Mathis, and Frankie Valli.

Violin

Emily Chen

Emily graduated URI with her degree in music education and violin performance. She is currently the music director for the URI Summer String Camp, and founder of “La Bella Musica”, a highly sough after string quartet that performs throughout Southern New England. Emily also teaches at her own private music studio, as well as the Moses Brown School, and the RI Philharmonic School. Emily also serves as the concertmaster for the Narragansett Bay Symphony Orchestra, and the South County Chamber Orchestra.
